The game saves these on your device so you can pick up where you left off:
None of this leaves your phone through the game. We cannot see it.
If your phone backs up apps to your own Google account, Android may include this save in that backup. That backup belongs to you and is handled by Google. We have no access to it.
Some screens offer buttons to invite a friend, share your result, or copy your results. These only happen when you tap them. Sharing opens your phone's own share sheet, and you choose where the text goes. Copying puts the text on your phone's clipboard. The text is about the game, and includes anything you typed at the end of a case when you copy your results. We do not receive it.
This version of Forgery Files takes no payment and does not connect to Google Play billing. If real purchases are added later, they will be handled by Google Play, we will never see your payment details, and this policy will be updated before that version is released.
| Android permission | Why it is there |
|---|---|
| Internet and network state | Included by the app's software framework. The game itself sends and fetches nothing: its pictures, video and sound are all inside the app. |
| Vibrate | The small buzzes you feel when using some tools. |
| Modify audio settings, wake lock | Used by the audio and video software that plays the game's sound and clips. |
The app does not use your camera, microphone, location, contacts or photos.
Forgery Files is not directed to children under 13. We do not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
All of your game data is on your phone, so you can remove it yourself:
We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. You are welcome to email us with any question.
If the app starts collecting anything, or this policy changes in any other way, we will update this page and its effective date before that version is released.
